The crowds were kept in high spirits in between acts with DJ sets from Australia’s leading female DJ, Havana Brown and London’s very own former Radio 1 DJ Seb Fontaine also known as ‘super-sub’. No one wanted the show to end and with 10,000 people screaming ‘more’ Beyoncé didn’t disappoint by dedicating her final song of the night ‘Halo’ to Michael Jackson.

The glamorous Fort Canning formed the perfect backdrop for the main stage. Lit beautifully, it glowed as the crowds gathered during nightfall. The building itself overlooked the main stage and housed the VIP guests. Decked out with Johnnie Walker bars and a state of the art VIP bar constructed entirely of the latest definition LG TV screens, the VIP’s were served exclusive F1 ROCKS™ cocktails, offering five-star catering from the finest international chefs.

Separate from the main stage, Austrian energy drink Red Bull had its own separate music stage Red Bull Stage @ F1 ROCKS™, which featured three days of cutting edge music and some of the hottest up-and-coming artists including UK beatbox extraordinaire Killa Kella. The stage, made from shipping containers stacked on top of one another was a vision of industrial modern architecture.

Whilst the performances were entertaining the crowds front of stage, backstage it was equally as exciting. Filming for the official lifestyle television show ‘F1 ROCKS™ Singapore with LG’ illusionist to the stars, Dynamo entertained the celebrities and A-List music stars with his phenomenal tricks. Pharrell Williams and band members of N*E*R*D were blown away when Dynamo successfully cloned Pharrell’s bank card right in front of his eyes and Pharrell nearly ran away when Dynamo pulled a polo on a chain through his neck! But, the most impressive illusion had to be when he successfully levitated Lindsay Lohan in front of a full audience! With nothing between Lindsay and the chair, everyone became silent as she began to lift up and float in the air.
